For doses exceeding 100 mg daily, divide into two doses, with the larger dose given at bedtime. Usual Pediatric Dose for OCD - Ages 8 to 11: Initial dose: 25 mg orally once daily at bedtime Maintenance dose: 25 to 200 mg per day Maximum dose: 200 mg per day - Ages 11 to 17: Initial dose: 25 mg orally once daily at bedtime Maintenance dose: 25 to 300 mg per day Maximum dose: 300 mg per day Dose increments of 25 mg every 4 to 7 days are recommended as tolerated. Doses above 50 mg should be split into two administrations; the larger dose is best taken at bedtime. Female patients may respond to lower doses compared to males.
