Dosage Selection Criteria: - First cigarette within 30 minutes of waking: 4 mg - First cigarette after 30 minutes of waking: 2 mg Recommended Dosing Schedule (12 Weeks Total): - Weeks 1 to 6: 1 lozenge every 1 to 2 hours - Weeks 7 to 9: 1 lozenge every 2 to 4 hours - Weeks 10 to 12: 1 lozenge every 4 to 8 hours Maximum Daily Dose: 20 lozenges per day Usage Instructions: - Place one lozenge in the mouth and allow it to dissolve slowly over 20 to 30 minutes - Periodically move it from one side of the mouth to the other - Do not chew or swallow the lozenge - Avoid eating or drinking 15 minutes before and during use - Use at least 9 lozenges per day in the first 6 weeks for higher success rates Additional NRT Reference (other forms): Gum: Chew until tingling, park between cheek and gums, continue for about 30 minutes.
