Pirfenx 200 is a generic antifibrotic medication containing Pirfenidone 200mg, primarily prescribed for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). I've been taking Pirfenx for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis for about six months. I can definitely feel my breathing hasn't worsened. Side effects are mild—just some stomach upset at times. Worth it.
This is the only med that helped stabilize my lung function. I just wish it were more affordable. Still taking it regularly with good results.
