Usual Adult Dose for Weight Loss: Each extended-release tablet contains naltrexone 8 mg and bupropion 90 mg. → Week 1: 1 tablet once daily in the morning → Week 2: 1 tablet twice daily (morning and evening) → Week 3: 2 tablets in the morning + 1 tablet in the evening → Week 4 and beyond: 2 tablets twice daily (maximum dose) Therapy should be discontinued if the patient has not lost ≥5% of baseline body weight after 12 weeks at the maintenance dose. Can be taken with food to minimize nausea. Avoid high-fat meals which may increase the risk of seizures. Not recommended for use with other weight loss medications or MAO inhibitors.
