Flutiflo Nasal Spray is a generic formulation of Flixonase, containing Fluticasone Propionate 50mcg per spray. It is a topical corticosteroid used for managing nasal symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and itching. Its potent anti-inflammatory properties make it a first-line treatment for seasonal allergies and year-round nasal sensitivities.
- Flutiflo Nasal Spray is indicated for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, reducing inflammation within the nasal passages caused by pollen, dust mites, mold, and pet dander. - As a nasal corticosteroid, it provides effective relief from nasal congestion, sneezing, post-nasal drip, and itchy nose, helping improve breathing and sleep quality. - It is also suitable for the management of non-infectious rhinitis and may be used as adjunctive therapy for nasal polyps under medical guidance.
- Fluticasone Propionate acts locally by inhibiting multiple inflammatory mediators including histamine, prostaglandins, and leukotrienes. - It reduces swelling and mucus production in the nasal mucosa, restoring normal nasal airflow and reducing allergic responses.
- Shake the bottle well before use. - Adults and children over 12 years: Administer 2 sprays in each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning. - Once symptoms improve, the dose may be reduced to 1 spray per nostril daily. - Do not exceed the recommended dose. Clean the nozzle regularly and avoid spraying onto the nasal septum.
- Store below 30°C, away from moisture and direct sunlight. - Keep the cap on tightly when not in use. - Do not freeze.
- May include nasal dryness, headache, nosebleeds, throat irritation, or bad taste. - Prolonged use may rarely cause nasal septum perforation, delayed wound healing, or adrenal suppression. - Contact a healthcare provider if symptoms persist.
