Foracort 200 Inhaler contains Formoterol Fumarate (6mcg) and Budesonide (200mcg), an effective combination therapy for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

  • Formoterol: A long-acting beta-2 adrenergic agonist (LABA) that relaxes airway muscles, improving airflow and preventing bronchoconstriction.

Foracort 200 is recommended for long-term asthma control and COPD maintenance therapy, helping to prevent wheezing, shortness of breath, and airway inflammation.

Respiratory Diseases

  • Asthma (Bronchial Asthma Treatment)
    • Maintenance therapy: Adults inhale 1 puff twice daily.
    • Maximum: Up to 4 puffs per inhalation and 8 puffs per day, under supervision.

  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
    • Adults typically inhale 2 puffs twice daily for chronic bronchitis and emphysema symptom relief.
