Foracort 200 Rotacaps contain Formoterol Fumarate (6mcg) and Budesonide (200mcg), making it an effective dry powder inhalation therapy for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

  • Formoterol: A long-acting beta-2 agonist (LABA) that relaxes airway muscles, improving airflow and preventing bronchoconstriction.
  • Budesonide: An inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) that reduces lung inflammation and prevents asthma attacks.

Foracort 200 Rotacaps are recommended for long-term asthma control and COPD maintenance, preventing wheezing, breathlessness, and airway inflammation.

Indications & Uses

  • Respiratory Diseases > Asthma
    • Adults: 1 Rotacap twice daily (Budesonide 160µg + Formoterol 4.5µg).
    • Maximum: 4 Rotacaps per inhalation and up to 8/day.
    • For maintenance + symptom relief: 1–2 Rotacaps twice daily; additional Rotacaps can be taken during attacks (max 6 per episode, 8/day, temporary up to 12/day with doctor’s approval).

  • Respiratory Diseases > COPD
    • Adults: 2 Rotacaps twice daily (Budesonide 320µg + Formoterol 9µg).
    • Not for acute rescue use.
    • Maximum: Do not exceed 12/day.

  • Keep Rotacaps in original blister until use.
  • Do not store in bathrooms.
  • Keep away from children/pets.
  • Do not use damaged or discolored capsules.
  • Clean device per manufacturer’s guide; do not wash with water.
