Formoterol: A long-acting bronchodilator (LABA) that relaxes airway muscles, improving airflow and preventing airway constriction. Budesonide: A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the lungs and prevents asthma attacks. Formonide 200 is recommended for long-term asthma control and COPD maintenance, preventing wheezing, shortness of breath, and respiratory inflammation.
- Respiratory Diseases Asthma (Bronchial Asthma Treatment) - For maintenance therapy: Adults inhale 1 puff twice daily (Budesonide 160μg, Formoterol 4.5μg per inhalation). - The dose may be adjusted depending on symptoms, up to 4 puffs per inhalation and 8 puffs per day. - When used for both maintenance and symptom relief inhalation: Adults inhale 1 or 2 puffs twice daily on a fixed schedule. - If an asthma attack occurs, inhale 1 additional puff. - If symptoms persist, inhale 1 more puff (up to 6 puffs per episode). - The maximum daily dose is 8 inhalations, but can be temporarily increased to 12 inhalations per day. - If more than 8 inhalations are needed per day, seek medical consultation immediately. - Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Treatment (Chronic Bronchitis & Emphysema Symptom Relief) - Adults inhale 2 puffs twice daily (Budesonide 320μg, Formoterol 9μg per inhalation). - Formonide 200 Inhaler is NOT a rescue inhaler and should not be used for acute asthma attacks alone.

For Respiratory Diseases > Asthma Maintenance Therapy - Take Formonide 200 Inhaler as prescribed for long-term asthma maintenance therapy. - Standard dosage: Inhale 1 puff, twice daily. - Adjustable dose: Depending on symptoms, up to 4 puffs per use and a maximum of 8 puffs per day may be used under medical guidance. - Shake the inhaler well before each use for effective medication dispersion. - Exhale fully before inhalation, then inhale deeply while pressing the canister to release the dose. - Hold breath for 10 seconds before exhaling slowly. - Rinse mouth after each use to prevent oral infections such as thrush. - Do not stop using suddenly, as it may lead to worsening symptoms or breathing difficulties. - If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible but do not double the next dose.
