Formonide 200 Respicaps contain Formoterol Fumarate (6mcg) and Budesonide (200mcg), designed for use with a DPI (Dry Powder Inhaler). This combination therapy is essential for long-term asthma management and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) control. Formoterol (LABA): A long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles, helping to improve airflow. Budesonide (ICS): A corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation, preventing asthma symptoms and COPD flare-ups. This medication is not a rescue inhaler but is intended for daily maintenance therapy to improve lung function and prevent respiratory symptoms.
- Respiratory Diseases Asthma (Bronchial Asthma Treatment) - For maintenance therapy: Adults inhale 1 capsule twice daily (Budesonide 160μg, Formoterol 4.5μg per inhalation). - The dosage may be adjusted depending on symptoms, with a maximum of 4 capsules per inhalation and up to 8 per day. - When used for both maintenance and symptom relief inhalation: - Adults inhale 1 or 2 capsules twice daily on a routine schedule. - If an asthma attack occurs, inhale 1 additional capsule. - If symptoms persist, inhale 1 more capsule (up to 6 per episode). - The maximum daily dose is 8 inhalations, but can be temporarily increased to 12 inhalations per day. - If more than 8 inhalations are needed per day, seek medical consultation immediately. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Treatment (Chronic Bronchitis & Emphysema Symptom Relief) - Adults inhale 2 capsules twice daily (Budesonide 320μg, Formoterol 9μg per inhalation). - Formonide 200 Respicaps are NOT for immediate relief of acute asthma attacks. A rescue inhaler should be used instead.

For Respiratory Diseases > Asthma Maintenance Therapy - Take Formonide 200 Respicaps as prescribed for long-term asthma maintenance therapy. - Standard dosage: Inhale 1 capsule, twice daily using a Rotahaler or DPI device. - Adjustable dose: Depending on symptoms, up to 4 capsules per inhalation and a maximum of 8 capsules per day may be used under medical guidance. - Do not swallow the Respicaps—they must be used with an inhalation device. - Insert one Respicap into the device, twist, and inhale deeply and steadily. - Hold breath for 10 seconds, then exhale slowly. - Rinse mouth after each use to prevent oral infections such as thrush. - Do not stop using suddenly, as it may lead to worsening symptoms or breathing difficulties. - If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible but do not double the next dose. For Respiratory Diseases > COPD Symptom Relief - Take Formonide 200 Respicaps as directed for COPD symptom management. - Standard dosage: Inhale 2 capsules, twice daily using a Rotahaler or DPI device. - Maximum dose: Do not exceed 12 capsules per day, unless prescribed by a doctor. - Proper inhalation technique is essential: Insert one Respicap into the inhalation device, twist, and inhale deeply and steadily. - Hold breath for 10 seconds, then exhale slowly. Regular use helps control symptoms of chronic bronchitis and emphysema. - Always rinse mouth after use to reduce the risk of fungal infections. - Seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or do not improve with continued use.

I usually carry a full-size inhaler but this respicap pack is super compact and practical. I’m traveling a lot for work, so I appreciate how easy it is to pack. Also came on time.
