Formonide 400 Inhaler is a combination metered-dose inhaler (MDI) containing Formoterol Fumarate (6mcg) and Budesonide (400mcg), designed for long-term asthma and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) management. This inhaler is a dual-action therapy that provides both bronchodilation and anti-inflammatory effects, improving lung function and preventing respiratory symptoms. Formoterol, a long-acting beta-2 agonist (LABA), works by relaxing airway muscles, allowing better airflow and preventing sudden bronchospasms. Budesonide, an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS), reduces inflammation and mucus production, preventing frequent asthma attacks and COPD exacerbations. As an MDI, Formonide 400 ensures controlled and accurate medication delivery with each dose, making it ideal for daily maintenance therapy. However, it is not a rescue inhaler and should not be used to treat acute breathing difficulties.

For Bronchial Asthma (Maintenance Therapy): -Typically, adults inhale 1 puff twice daily. -The dosage may be adjusted based on symptoms, with a maximum of 4 puffs per dose and up to 8 puffs per day. For Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) – Including Chronic Bronchitis & Emphysema: -Typically, adults inhale 2 puffs twice daily.
