Levolin 1.25mg Respules contains Levosalbutamol 1.25mg, a potent bronchodilator used to manage respiratory conditions like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is a beta-2 adrenergic agonist, which helps relax the airway muscles, providing quick relief from bronchospasms, wheezing, shortness of breath, and airway constriction. This formulation is designed as a nebulized solution for use with a nebulizer device, ensuring deep lung penetration for effective and immediate relief. It is particularly beneficial for patients with severe respiratory distress, including acute asthma attacks and COPD exacerbations. Levosalbutamol, also known as Levalbuterol, is an advanced form of Salbutamol (Albuterol), offering similar bronchodilation with fewer side effects, such as reduced heart palpitations and muscle tremors. The Respules formulation makes it easy to administer, especially in pediatric and elderly patients who may struggle with using metered-dose inhalers (MDIs) or dry powdered inhalers (DPIs).

The recommended usage and dosage approved overseas are as follows: Children aged 6 to 11 years: Inhale 0.31mg of Levosalbutamol three times a day. Do not exceed 0.63mg per dose. Adolescents (12 years and older) and adults: Inhale 0.63mg of Levosalbutamol three times a day. The maximum inhalation dosage is 1.25mg per dose, three times a day. This medication is for inhalation use only. It should be inhaled deeply while breathing in. Do not inject or swallow the inhalation solution.
