Nazomac-F Nasal Spray is a generic nasal corticosteroid formulation containing Fluticasone 50mcg, designed to effectively relieve nasal symptoms associated with allergic and non-allergic rhinitis. As part of the Inhaled Corticosteroid (ICS) class within Respiratory Diseases, this spray works by suppressing inflammation in the nasal passages, reducing congestion, sneezing, itching, and runny nose. It is commonly used in both seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and perennial rhinitis. Fluticasone is a potent anti-inflammatory agent that acts locally without significant systemic absorption, making Nazomac-F a safe and effective long-term option for patients who suffer from chronic nasal issues. - Shake the bottle gently before each use. - Adults and children over 12 years: One spray in each nostril once or twice daily as directed by your physician. - Blow your nose gently before using the spray. - Prime the spray if using for the first time or after a period of non-use. - Avoid spraying into the eyes or directly onto the nasal septum.
- Store below 25°C, away from moisture and direct sunlight. - Do not freeze. - Keep the nozzle clean and capped when not in use. - Keep out of reach of children.
- Common: Nosebleeds, dry or irritated nose and throat, unpleasant taste or smell. - Less Common: Headache, cough, sore throat. - Rare: Nasal septum perforation or hypersensitivity reactions. - Rinse mouth or nose with water if irritation occurs and consult your doctor for prolonged symptoms.
