Serevent Evohaler is the original brand inhaler manufactured by GSK, containing Salmeterol 25mcg, a long-acting beta-2 adrenergic agonist (LABA) used for the prevention of asthma symptoms and long-term management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways to improve breathing and is effective for up to 12 hours. This inhaler is not suitable for acute asthma attacks but is essential in maintaining airway patency and controlling chronic symptoms.

  • Maintenance Therapy: Indicated for asthma and COPD patients requiring continuous bronchodilator treatment.

Directions for Use

For Respiratory Diseases > Asthma / COPD

  • Dosage: 2 puffs twice daily (morning and evening), or as prescribed by your doctor.
  • Administration steps:
  1. Shake the inhaler well.
  2. Exhale fully.
  3. Place the mouthpiece between lips, press the canister, and inhale deeply.
  4. Hold breath for ~10 seconds.
  • Rinse mouth after each use to reduce risk of oral thrush or throat irritation.
  • Important: Not for acute asthma attacks → use a short-acting bronchodilator (e.g., Salbutamol).
  • Best results when used regularly, even if symptoms are not present.

Storage

  • Store at below 30°C, away from heat and direct sunlight.
  • Do not refrigerate or freeze.
  • Keep dry, tightly closed, and never puncture or incinerate the canister.
