Cromal Forte Eye Drops 2% is a generic ophthalmic solution containing Cromolyn Sodium 2% w/v, manufactured by Cipla Ltd. It is primarily used for the prevention and treatment of allergic conjunctivitis and other eye-related allergic conditions. Cromolyn Sodium is a mast cell stabilizer that works by inhibiting the release of histamine and other inflammatory substances responsible for allergy symptoms. By stabilizing mast cells, Cromal Forte Eye Drops helps control symptoms such as itchy eyes, redness, tearing, and swelling caused by allergens like pollen, dust, and pet dander. This medication is particularly effective when used preventatively and consistently during high-allergen seasons or in chronic eye allergies.

Use Cromal Forte Eye Drops exactly as advised by your physician. This medication is intended for ophthalmic use only. - Wash your hands before application. - Remove soft contact lenses before use and avoid wearing them for at least 15 minutes afterward. - Gently pull down the lower eyelid and instill 1–2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s). - Close your eyes and press lightly on the inner eye corner for 1 minute to reduce systemic absorption. - Repeat for the other eye if necessary. - Follow your doctor’s instructions regarding frequency and duration of use. - Do not discontinue the drops without medical advice, even if symptoms improve.
