Soratib 200 is an oral targeted therapy containing sorafenib 200 mg, a first-generation multikinase inhibitor (TKI) designed to disrupt both tumor cell proliferation and tumor angiogenesis.
Its mechanism involves inhibition of a broad spectrum of kinases, including RAF kinases, VEGFR, PDGFR, KIT, and RET, all of which are crucial for tumor growth and blood vessel development. By simultaneously blocking intracellular signaling and vascular pathways, sorafenib reduces both cancer cell survival and tumor vascularization.
Clinically, Soratib 200 is well-established in:
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC): a standard first-line option in advanced, unresectable cases, prolonging survival.
Renal cell carcinoma (RCC): used in advanced disease, especially after failure of cytokine-based therapy.
Differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC): effective in patients with radioactive iodine–refractory progressive disease.
Thanks to its oral formulation and systemic bioavailability, Soratib 200 is frequently used in long-term maintenance therapy for advanced solid tumors, offering continuous disease control with manageable toxicity under medical supervision.
