Bdpazo 200 is an oral tyrosine kinase inhibitor containing pazopanib 200mg, primarily indicated for advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and soft tissue sarcoma (STS).
It works by selectively inhibiting multiple receptor tyrosine kinases, including:
VEGFR-1, VEGFR-2, VEGFR-3 – blocking angiogenesis
PDGFR-α/β – suppressing stromal and vascular support
c-KIT – interfering with tumor cell growth and survival
Through this multi-targeted inhibition, Bdpazo 200 disrupts tumor vascularization and proliferation, making it a key agent for patients with metastatic or unresectable RCC and for those with soft tissue sarcoma who have failed prior chemotherapy.
When taken continuously under oncologist supervision, it has been shown to delay disease progression and improve progression-free survival, offering a valuable targeted therapy option in difficult-to-treat malignancies.

Used as first- or second-line therapy in patients with metastatic or unresectable renal cell carcinoma, primarily through inhibition of VEGFR-mediated tumor angiogenesis.

Indicated in select subtypes of soft tissue sarcoma following failure of previous chemotherapy, including leiomyosarcoma and liposarcoma.

Under clinical investigation for rare or refractory tumors such as glioblastoma or differentiated thyroid carcinoma, where angiogenesis plays a central role in disease progression.
Pazopanib 200mg acts as a multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor, blocking key receptors that regulate angiogenesis and tumor survival.
By inhibiting VEGFR (1, 2, 3), PDGFR-α/β, and c-KIT pathways, it disrupts the formation of new blood vessels that supply tumors with oxygen and nutrients. This results in restricted tumor nourishment, slowed disease progression, and enhanced potential for disease stabilization in various solid tumors, including renal cell carcinoma and soft tissue sarcoma.
Usual Adult Dose:
→ 800 mg orally once daily on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after food)
→ Continue until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity
→ Swallow tablets whole with water; do not crush or chew
Important Administration Notes:
→ Monitor liver function tests before and during treatment
→ Avoid grapefruit or grapefruit juice (CYP3A4 interaction)
→ Check blood pressure regularly (hypertension is a common side effect)
→ If a dose is missed by <12 hours, take it; if >12 hours, skip and resume normal schedule
Renal Impairment:
→ No dosage adjustment required for mild to moderate impairment
Hepatic Impairment:
→ Mild: 800 mg/day
→ Moderate: 200 mg/day
→ Severe: Not recommended
Store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F)
Protect from light and moisture
Keep tablets in the original container with the lid tightly closed
Keep out of reach of children
Common side effects: diarrhea, hypertension, nausea, fatigue, hair color changes
Less common: hepatotoxicity, proteinuria, anorexia, headache, taste disturbance
Rare but serious: cardiac dysfunction, thromboembolism, gastrointestinal perforation, severe liver injury
Seek immediate medical help for:
→ Yellowing of skin/eyes
→ Chest pain, sudden shortness of breath
→ Severe fatigue or unexplained bleeding
