Product Description

Lenvat 10 Capsule contains lenvatinib 10 mg, an oral multikinase inhibitor that blocks VEGFR, FGFR, PDGFRα, KIT, and RET pathways to disrupt tumor angiogenesis and proliferation.

Lenvatinib is used across multiple solid tumors—most notably radioactive-iodine (RAI)-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), renal cell carcinoma (RCC), and selected endometrial cancers—either as monotherapy or in approved combination regimens. Available via reputable online pharmacy channels, Lenvat 10 provides flexible dosing (capsule-based titration) for specialist-directed systemic cancer therapy.

Indications & Uses

  • AntiCancer Drugs | Thyroid Cancer
RAI-refractory differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC): recommended as a systemic option when disease is progressive.
  • AntiCancer Drugs | Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC)
First-line systemic option for advanced HCC in selected patients (weight-based dosing).
  • AntiCancer Drugs | Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC)
Used in combination with pembrolizumab for first-line disease or as part of post-VEGF regimens (with everolimus) per label guidance.
  • AntiCancer Drugs | Endometrial Cancer
Approved in combination with pembrolizumab for advanced or recurrent endometrial carcinoma in appropriate patients.

Benefits & Effectiveness

  • Broad multikinase inhibition reduces tumor vascular supply and blocks proliferative signalling (VEGFR, FGFR, PDGFRα, KIT, RET), producing measurable improvements in progression-free survival and objective response in multiple tumour types.
  • Oral, once-daily dosing enables outpatient management and easier adherence in long-term regimens.
  • Demonstrates strong antitumor activity when combined with immune checkpoint inhibitors (eg, pembrolizumab) in selected indications, enhancing antitumor synergy while maintaining manageable toxicity with monitoring.

Directions for Use

  • Differentiated Thyroid Cancer (RAI-refractory DTC): 24 mg once daily; continue until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.
  • RCC:
First-line (with pembrolizumab): 20 mg once daily (lenvatinib) + pembrolizumab 200 mg IV q3w.
Post-VEGF (with everolimus): 18 mg lenvatinib once daily + everolimus 5 mg once daily.
  • HCC (weight-based): <60 kg: 8 mg once daily; ≥60 kg: 12 mg once daily.
  • Endometrial Cancer (with pembrolizumab): 20 mg lenvatinib once daily + pembrolizumab 200 mg IV q3w.
  • Administration notes: take lenvatinib at the same time each day, with or without food; swallow capsules whole (do not crush). Avoid dose escalation without specialist guidance. Interrupt, reduce, or discontinue per toxicity management algorithms.
  • Monitoring & Precautions
Monitor blood pressure frequently (hypertension is common) and treat per protocol.
Check urine protein (proteinuria) regularly; consider urinalysis/UPCR baseline and periodically.
Monitor liver function tests, renal function, thyroid function, and CBC.
  • Vigilance for serious events: arterial/venous thromboembolism, GI perforation, wound-healing complications, hepatic dysfunction, cardiac events.
  • Dose adjustments required for grade ≥2 toxicities (hypertension, proteinuria, severe diarrhea, hand-foot syndrome, hepatic impairment) per prescribing guidance. Withhold therapy around major surgery and resume only after adequate wound healing.

Storage

  • Store capsules in original packaging at below 30°C, protected from moisture and light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use expired or visibly altered capsules.

Possible Side Effects

  • Common: hypertension, fatigue, diarrhea, decreased appetite, nausea, proteinuria, arthralgia, hand-foot skin reaction.
  • Serious: hepatic injury, thromboembolic events, GI perforation, wound-healing complications, severe hypertension, cardiac dysfunction.
  • Management: dose interruption, supportive care, dose reduction, or permanent discontinuation as clinically indicated.
