- Adults (Over 70 kg): - Initial: 40 mg/day - Maintenance: 80 mg/day after 3+ days - Max: 100 mg/day after 2–4 weeks if necessary - Pediatrics (≤70 kg): - Initial: 0.5 mg/kg/day - Maintenance: 1.2 mg/kg/day after 3+ days - Max: 1.4 mg/kg/day or 100 mg/day (whichever is lower) - Atomoxet 18 may be taken once daily in the morning, or divided into two doses (morning and early evening) to manage side effects like nausea or sleep disturbances. - Adjustments may be required in patients with liver impairment or those taking CYP2D6 inhibitors.
