1. Indication: - Indicated for pregnancy prevention in adult and postmenarchal females 2. Oral Tablet Dosage: - Take 1 tablet by mouth once daily at the same time each day - Follow the order indicated on the blister pack strictly - Start either: - On the first day of menstruation (Day 1 Start), or - On the first Sunday following menstruation onset (Sunday Start) - Do not exceed 24-hour gaps between doses to maintain contraceptive effectiveness 3. Transdermal Patch Dosage (if applicable): - Apply 1 patch once per week for 3 consecutive weeks (Week 1 to Week 3) - No patch is worn during Week 4 to allow withdrawal bleeding - Restart the cycle in Week 5 4. Special Considerations: - Begin the patch within the first 24 hours of menstruation if used - Transdermal delivery is not advised for BMI ≥30 kg/m² due to efficacy concerns and VTE risk - Patients with BMI between 25–30 kg/m² should be counseled on reduced reliability and monitored
