Oral Tablet Dosage

Day 1 Start: Begin on the first day of menstruation
Sunday Start: Begin on the first Sunday after menstruation begins
Do not exceed 24-hour intervals between doses
For Postmenopausal Symptoms (off-label use)
0.25 mg drospirenone / 0.5 mg estradiol tablet OR
0.5 mg drospirenone / 1 mg estradiol tablet once daily
Indicated for vasomotor symptoms (hot flashes) and vulvovaginal atrophy
May be initiated anytime if not on other hormone therapy
Transition from sequential or cyclic therapy should occur after completion of the current cycle
Topical estrogen may be preferable for localized vaginal symptoms
