Donect 10 is a generic donepezil 10mg acetylcholinesterase inhibitor widely used to manage cognitive symptoms in Alzheimer’s disease. By increasing acetylcholine availability in the brain, it helps delay neurodegeneration, preserve memory, and sustain the ability to perform daily tasks.
It is commonly prescribed for mild to severe Alzheimer’s, often in combination with memantine, supporting attention, orientation, and verbal communication in aging patients.
Beyond Alzheimer’s, Donect 10 may benefit individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) by improving memory, clarity, and focus. It is also applied as an adjunct therapy in vascular and mixed dementias, enhancing cognition, emotional stability, and daily performance.
Alzheimer’s & Parkinson’s
Alzheimer’s Disease: Increases acetylcholine in the brain, supporting memory retention, orientation, and language skills while slowing cognitive decline.
Sleep & Mental Health
For patients stabilized on memantine (10mg BID or 28mg ER QD) + donepezil 10mg QD:
Take memantine 28mg ER + donepezil 10mg once daily in the evening.
For severe renal impairment:
Use memantine 5mg BID or 14mg ER QD with donepezil 10mg QD.
