Etibo 250 is an oral targeted anticancer therapy containing lapatinib 250mg, a dual tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) indicated for the management of HER2-positive advanced breast cancer.
It works by simultaneously inhibiting HER2 (ErbB2) and EGFR (ErbB1) pathways, thereby blocking downstream signaling cascades that drive tumor proliferation, survival, and invasion.
Etibo 250 is particularly valuable for patients who have progressed after trastuzumab-based therapy or those with central nervous system metastases, as lapatinib can penetrate the blood-brain barrier, offering therapeutic benefit in otherwise difficult-to-treat disease sites.

HER2-Positive Metastatic Breast Cancer (Capecitabine combination):
Lapatinib 1250 mg orally once daily on Days 1–21 of each 21-day cycle
Capecitabine 2000 mg/m²/day orally in 2 divided doses on Days 1–14 of the cycle
Capecitabine should be taken with food or within 30 minutes after eating
HR+/HER2+ Metastatic Breast Cancer (Letrozole combination):
Lapatinib 1500 mg orally once daily continuously
Letrozole 2.5 mg orally once daily
Dosing Notes:
Entire lapatinib dose should be taken once daily, not split
If a dose is missed, it should not be doubled the next day
Treatment is continued until disease progression or intolerable toxicity
In postmenopausal patients or those unable to tolerate chemotherapy, this regimen offers a convenient oral option
Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from excessive heat or moisture
Keep the bottle tightly closed after use

Common: diarrhea, nausea, fatigue, rash, hand-foot syndrome
Serious: hepatotoxicity, cardiotoxicity (reduced LVEF), interstitial lung disease
