Rexigo 120 is an oral tablet formulation containing 120 mg of Relugolix, a non-peptide GnRH receptor antagonist indicated for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. Unlike conventional GnRH agonists, Relugolix provides rapid testosterone suppression without the initial surge, ensuring immediate and sustained androgen reduction. Taken once daily, it is especially valued for its oral convenience, favorable cardiovascular safety profile, and proven efficacy in both metastatic and non-metastatic castration-sensitive as well as castration-resistant prostate cancer.

Rexigo 120 is indicated for the treatment of adult men with advanced prostate cancer, including both non-metastatic and metastatic stages. It is especially useful in patients with castration-sensitive prostate cancer (CSPC) as well as those progressing to castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). As an oral GnRH antagonist, Relugolix suppresses luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), resulting in a rapid decrease in testosterone levels—key to controlling prostate cancer growth. It avoids the initial testosterone surge seen with GnRH agonists, minimizing flare symptoms such as bone pain or urinary obstruction.
• Dosage & Administration
Prostate Cancer (Adults): Loading Dose is 360 mg orally once on Day 1. Maintenance Dose is 120 mg orally once daily starting from Day 2. Tablets should be taken at the same time each day, with or without food. No need for combination with anti-androgens due to lack of testosterone surge. Do not crush or chew the tablet; swallow whole.
• Important Notes
Use in patients with advanced, hormone-sensitive prostate cancer or in castration-resistant disease. Evaluate testosterone levels regularly to confirm suppression (<50 ng/dL). If a maintenance dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered on the same day; do not take two doses to make up for a missed one. Resume therapy as soon as possible after a missed loading dose or multiple missed maintenance doses.
