Topaz 25 contains topiramate 25 mg, a low-dose oral anticonvulsant with multimodal neurostabilizing actions.

Primarily indicated for seizure control and migraine prevention, Topaz 25 is also used off-label as an adjunct in smoking-cessation programs for selected patients with impulsivity or substance-use comorbidity.

Topiramate enhances GABAergic inhibition, antagonizes AMPA/kainate glutamate receptors, blocks voltage-gated sodium channels and exerts mild carbonic anhydrase inhibition—mechanisms that decrease neuronal hyperexcitability and blunt reward-driven cravings.

Formulated for gradual titration, Topaz 25 is supplied for clinician-managed therapy and is available through reputable online pharmacy channels.
