Naprosyn 500 Plus contains Naproxen 500mg, a long-acting non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) known for its powerful pain relief, inflammation reduction, and fever control. It is widely used for headaches, migraines, arthritis, muscle pain, post-surgical pain, and fever due to respiratory infections. Its extended duration of action makes it ideal for chronic pain management and migraine prevention. Naprosyn 500 Plus works by blocking COX enzymes, reducing prostaglandin production, which is responsible for pain, swelling, and fever.

Back Pain/Stiff Shoulders – Reduces muscle stiffness and chronic lower back pain. Joint Pain/Rheumatism – Effective in managing arthritis, osteoarthritis, and inflammatory joint diseases. Post-Surgical Pain – Helps control post-surgical pain and inflammation, promoting faster recovery. RESPIRATORY DISEASES Flu (Influenza) & Colds – Helps relieve fever, body aches, and muscle pain associated with flu and colds. - Naprosyn 500 Plus provides long-lasting pain relief, making it an excellent choice for chronic pain conditions. - Not recommended for individuals with stomach ulcers, kidney disease, or NSAID allergies.
Naproxen 500mg inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 & COX-2), reducing prostaglandin production, leading to pain relief, inflammation reduction, and fever control. The effect lasts up to 12 hours, making it a long-acting NSAID.
- Dosage Adults & children over 12 years: Take 500mg every 12 hours as needed. For arthritis & chronic pain: Take 500-1000mg daily, divided into two doses. For menstrual pain & acute musculoskeletal disorders: Take 500mg initially, then 250mg every 6-8 hours as needed. For gout attacks: Take 750mg as an initial dose, then 250mg every 8 hours as needed. For migraine prevention: Take 750mg at the first sign of a migraine, followed by 250mg after 30 minutes if needed. Maximum daily dose: Do not exceed 1,500mg per day. - Administration Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew. Take with food or milk to prevent stomach irritation. Avoid alcohol and other NSAIDs, as they may increase the risk of stomach ulcers and bleeding. - If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible, but do not double the next dose. - Long-term use should be monitored by a doctor to prevent side effects. - Painkillers & Headache Headache/Migraine Long-acting pain relief, also used for migraine prevention. Take 500mg every 12 hours as needed. Take with food to minimize stomach discomfort. - Do not exceed 1,500mg per day. - Do not take on an empty stomach to avoid gastric discomfort. - If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, consult a doctor.

Unusual fatigue or unexplained weight gain, which could indicate kidney issues. Severe allergic reactions, such as swelling of the face, lips, or throat, difficulty breathing, or severe rash. - Long-term use of Naprosyn 500 Plus should be monitored by a doctor to prevent gastrointestinal, liver, and kidney-related complications. - If any of these symptoms persist or worsen, stop using the medication and seek medical advice immediately.
