Lanol ER 650 contains Paracetamol 650mg, a widely used extended-release analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It is commonly prescribed for moderate to severe headaches, post-surgical pain, fever management, and body aches caused by flu or infections. PAINKILLERS & HEADACHE Headache/Migraine – Provides long-lasting relief from tension headaches, migraines, and chronic headaches. Back Pain/Stiff Shoulders – Helps relieve muscle tension, stiffness, and chronic back pain. Joint Pain/Rheumatism – Used for rheumatic pain, osteoarthritis, and inflammatory joint conditions. Post-Surgical Pain – Provides prolonged pain relief after surgery or injury recovery. RESPIRATORY DISEASES Flu (Influenza) & Colds – Effectively reduces fever, chills, muscle aches, and sore throat caused by viral infections. - Lanol ER 650 is often used in combination with NSAIDs or muscle relaxants for enhanced pain relief. - Not recommended for patients with severe liver conditions or chronic alcohol use.
Lanol ER 650 works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the brain, which reduces pain perception and regulates body temperature. Its extended-release formulation allows longer-lasting effects, making it suitable for chronic pain and prolonged fever management.
- For Pain Relief (Headache, Back Pain, Joint Pain, Post-Surgical Pain) Adults: Take 300–1,000mg per dose, ensuring at least a 4 to 6-hour interval between doses. Do not exceed a total of 4,000mg per day to avoid liver damage. Avoid taking on an empty stomach to reduce the risk of stomach discomfort. - For Acute Upper Respiratory Infections (Cold & Flu Fever Relief) Adults: Take 300–500mg as needed, up to twice a day. Maximum daily dosage is 1,500mg for fever or pain relief in colds and flu. Do not take on an empty stomach to prevent stomach irritation. - For Painkillers & Headache > Headache / Migraine Lanol ER 650 provides effective relief from mild to moderate headaches and migraines. Dosage: Take 300–1,000mg every 4-6 hours, as needed. Maximum daily dose is 4,000mg; exceeding this can cause serious liver damage. Avoid taking with alcohol, as it may increase liver toxicity.
