Ecosprin-75 Tablet contains 75mg of Aspirin, a widely used medication with diverse dose-dependent effects. In low doses, it acts as an antiplatelet agent to prevent cardiovascular events such as heart attacks and strokes. At higher doses, it serves as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug. Ecosprin is enteric-coated to minimize gastric irritation and is often used in long-term therapy for patients at risk of thrombotic conditions or certain cancers.

Adult Dosage Guidelines: - Cardiovascular Event Prevention (MI, Stroke, TIA): 75–325 mg once daily - Acute MI: Chew 160–162.5 mg immediately, then continue 162.5 mg daily for 30 days - Stable/Unstable Angina: 75–325 mg daily - Post-CABG/PTCA/CEA: 80–650 mg daily, timing and duration vary by procedure - Rheumatoid Arthritis: 3 g/day in divided doses (monitor salicylate level) - General Pain/Fever: 300–650 mg every 4–6 hours, max 4 g/day - Cancer Prevention: 75–100 mg/day in adults 50–59 with ≥10% CVD risk Pediatric Dosage Guidelines: - Fever/Pain (≥12 years): 300–650 mg every 4–6 hrs; avoid in viral illness - Kawasaki Disease: - Acute phase: 80–100 mg/kg/day in divided doses - Maintenance: 1–5 mg/kg/day for 6–8 weeks - Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis: 90–130 mg/kg/day in divided doses - Thromboembolic Disorders: 1–5 mg/kg/day depending on condition (e.g., AIS, CHD) Cautions and Administration: - Take with food to reduce GI side effects - Do not crush or chew enteric-coated tablets - Avoid alcohol and NSAIDs to reduce bleeding risk - Contraindicated in patients with peptic ulcers or bleeding disorders
