Toba Eye Drop (Tobramycin 0.3%) is a broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic formulated for the treatment of external ocular bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, effectively eliminating susceptible gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens. Toba is commonly prescribed for conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and post-procedural prophylaxis, helping reduce redness, discharge, irritation, and infection-related discomfort.

Indications & Uses

  • Do not wear contact lenses until the infection has completely resolved.
  • If using multiple ophthalmic medications, wait at least 5 minutes between each.
  • Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve.

Storage

  • Store at room temperature (below 25–30°C).
  • Protect from light, heat, and moisture.
  • Do not freeze.
  • Keep tightly closed when not in use.
  • Discard any remaining solution 4 weeks after opening.

Uncommon: Eye redness, eyelid swelling, increased tearing.
