Almox 500 is a generic antibiotic medication manufactured by Alkem Laboratories, containing Amoxycillin 500mg.
It is a broad-spectrum penicillin-class antibiotic prescribed for bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary system, skin, soft tissues, and gastrointestinal system.

Amoxycillin works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death and preventing infection spread.
It is often prescribed alone or with Clavulanic Acid for enhanced effectiveness against resistant bacteria.
Additionally, Almox 500 is used in Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy for gastric ulcers.

    Treats chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and skin & soft tissue infections (SSTIs) such as cellulitis, impetigo, and abscesses.

  • Respiratory Diseases
    Prescribed for bronchitis, pneumonia, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media, and secondary bacterial infections following flu/colds.

  • Stomach & Liver & Digestive System
    Used in Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy with proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) for peptic ulcers.

  • Diseases & Symptoms
    Commonly prescribed for dental infections, including periodontal disease and post-surgical dental infections.

✔ May be used in meningitis and resistant bacterial infections when combined with Clavulanic Acid.
