Gonorrhea (Urethritis & Cervicitis caused by *Neisseria gonorrhoeae*) - In adults, treatment starts with an Azithromycin injection, followed by an oral dose of 250mg once daily. - In some countries, a single dose of 4 tablets of AZITHROMYCIN-500MG (total 2,000mg) is taken at once. - Do not divide the dosage; take all 4 tablets in one go. Common Bacterial Infections (*Skin infections, lymphangitis, lymphadenitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis, acute bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, periodontal infections, pericoronitis, jaw inflammation*) - Take 1 tablet of AZITHROMYCIN-500MG (total 500mg) once daily for three days, totaling 3 tablets (1,500mg) over the course of treatment. - The antibacterial effects last for approximately 7 days. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID, including gonorrhea-related cases) - Treatment begins with an Azithromycin injection, followed by ½ tablet of AZITHROMYCIN-500MG (total 250mg) once daily. Maximizing Effectiveness - Azithromycin is available in 100mg, 250mg, 500mg, and 1,000mg formulations. - Do not break or crush the tablets; select the appropriate dosage based on the severity of symptoms. - If symptoms persist or worsen after four days of treatment, switch to an alternative medication as needed. - In urethritis or cervicitis cases, monitor the patient's condition for 2–4 weeks after starting Azithromycin to assess effectiveness.
