Terbicip Cream - 10g contains terbinafine hydrochloride, a highly effective topical allylamine antifungal designed to treat a wide range of superficial fungal infections. By targeting and inhibiting the fungal enzyme squalene epoxidase, it disrupts ergosterol synthesis, leading to compromised cell membrane integrity and eventual fungal cell death. Its topical administration achieves high drug concentration directly at the infection site with negligible systemic absorption, maximizing efficacy and safety.
Tinea Corporis: Apply a thin layer of cream, gel, or spray once daily to the affected area and a small surrounding margin. Tinea Cruris: Apply once daily to clean, dry skin using cream, gel, or spray. Tinea Pedis: - Cream/Spray: Apply twice daily, morning and evening. - Gel: Apply once daily. Tinea Versicolor: Apply terbinafine solution twice daily until symptoms resolve. General advice: Always wash and dry the area thoroughly before application. Use sufficient product to fully cover the lesion and adjacent skin. Continue the full course even after symptom improvement to prevent recurrence. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.
Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from direct sunlight and excess moisture. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
