Bosutris 400 is a generic formulation of bosutinib, an oral second-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) indicated for the treatment of Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph+ CML). It effectively blocks BCR-ABL fusion proteins, which drive the uncontrolled proliferation of leukemic cells, while also inhibiting SRC family kinases.
Bosutris 400 is particularly suitable for patients who are resistant or intolerant to prior TKIs such as imatinib, dasatinib, or nilotinib, and it demonstrates strong molecular response rates even in high-risk or advanced disease settings.

Bosutris 400 is used as a second- or third-line agent in patients who have not responded to or cannot tolerate prior TKIs. By simultaneously targeting BCR-ABL and SRC kinases, it helps restore hematologic remission and induce cytogenetic responses in resistant cases.

Bosutris 400 is increasingly adopted as a first-line therapy in treatment protocols worldwide. It shows favorable safety and efficacy outcomes, achieving sustained progression-free survival and deep molecular remission in newly diagnosed patients.
> Accelerated Phase & Blast Crisis CML
Bosutris 400 is recommended for patients whose disease has progressed to the accelerated phase or blast crisis. It provides an essential therapeutic option to delay disease progression and prepare patients for potential hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT).
The primary mechanism of bosutinib is the inhibition of BCR-ABL tyrosine kinase, the hallmark driver of Ph+ CML. In addition, it suppresses SRC family kinases, which broadens its activity against leukemic clones carrying diverse mutations. Through these dual actions, Bosutris 400 contributes to achieving early molecular remission (MMR) and supports durable responses, particularly in patients who have been previously treated with other TKIs.
For newly diagnosed Ph+ CML (chronic phase), the recommended adult dose is 400 mg orally once daily with food. Treatment should be continued until disease progression or the development of patient intolerance.
For chronic, accelerated, or blast phase Ph+ CML with prior TKI resistance or intolerance, the recommended dose is 500 mg orally once daily with food. Therapy should be maintained until clinical progression or the occurrence of unacceptable toxicity.
Additional Instructions:
Bosutris 400 should always be taken with food to enhance drug absorption and reduce gastrointestinal side effects. If a dose is missed by more than 12 hours, the missed dose should be skipped, and the next scheduled dose resumed the following day. Patients must not double the dose to make up for a missed dose.
Store below 30°C in a dry environment. Protect from light and moisture. Keep the tablets in their original packaging and out of reach of children.
Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, abdominal discomfort, and fatigue. Laboratory monitoring may reveal elevated liver enzymes or cytopenias such as neutropenia and thrombocytopenia. Long-term use requires regular blood counts and hepatic function assessments. Headache, rash, and mild fluid retention may also occur in some patients.
